Let me introduce myself a little:
My name is Oksana. I'm a passionate portrait photographer based in San Ramon, California. It's located 35 miles east of San Francisco and I've been fortunate to call this place home since 2021. I love the beautiful hills and nature it's surrounded with.
I embarked on my professional photography journey in 2018, and it's been an incredible and rewarding experience so far. Photography allows me to combine my love for art and my deep interest in people. It's a medium through which I can capture the uniqueness and beauty of individuals, helping them tell their stories and create lasting memories.
Outside of my professional life, I'm also a devoted wife and the proud mother of two wonderful boys. This experience has deepened my understanding of the significance of capturing precious moments in life. Being a mother has taught me the value of preserving memories and creating tangible keepsakes for families to cherish.
My educational background in Sociology from UC Berkeley and my M.A. in Counselor Education have proven to be valuable assets in my photography career. They have enhanced my ability to connect with people, understand their emotions, and put them at ease during photoshoots. This, in turn, allows me to capture genuine expressions and authentic moments that truly reflect the essence of my subjects.
In my work, I strive to create a comfortable and enjoyable environment for my clients, ensuring that their personalities shine through in every photograph. Whether it's a family portrait, a couple's session, or an individual headshot, I'm dedicated to making each experience unique and special.
